Salem-Keizer RTSP Update – What are your goals?

Salem-Keizer Area Transportation Study (SKATS), the regional transportation planning agency for the greater Salem-Keizer area, is updating the Regional Transportation Systems Plan (RTSP). The RTSP is a long-range planning guide for transportation needs and improvements in the area, and is updated every four years. The update is a long process, with adoption expected in May of next year, but there will be opportunities for public engagement along the way. For starters, SKATS is revisiting the current goal statements that shape the scope of the RTSP – and they want to hear from you!

These goal statements will help determine future projects and priorities for the region. Weigh in now with what’s important to you and your community. How can we more clearly prioritize equitable access to transportation, Safe Routes to School, and inclusion of community input?

What else should be on our list of priorities? Submit your comments online today! You have until April 16th to provide your comments and recommendations to SKATS.
