Bay Area News: Advocates Express Concern About San Francisco Vision Zero Strategy

In late February, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) released an updated Vision Zero Action Strategy to continue the city toward its goal of eliminating traffic deaths. However, a number of traffic fatalities have occurred this year in the city, and advocates in the Vision Zero Coalition sent a sign on letter to the City, expressing concern that the current strategy is not doing enough to stem fatalities.  In particular, the action strategy lacks specific goals and clear metrics for measuring progress in achieving those goals.
