🚨 Urgent Action Needed 🚨

Help Us Strengthen Safe Routes to School!

Today, a bipartisan bill was introduced in the U.S. Senate that could transform Safe Routes to School in every state—and the Safe Routes Partnership is proud to be leading the charge with incredible partners like YOU!

The legislation (S. 1828), introduced by Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) and Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), would require every state department of transportation to have a Safe Routes to School coordinator. This key role supports kids and families walking and biking to school—no matter where they live!

We need your help now!

1. We need you to reach out to your U.S. Senators and ask them to include this Safe Routes to School coordinator bill (S. 1828) in their Surface Transportation Priorities by this Friday, May 23, 2025!

2. We ask you to forward this page to Safe Routes to School advocates, caregivers, community members, and everyone in between!

And THANK YOU!
Your advocacy, partnership, and passion are what make big steps like this possible.
