Hannah Williams serves as the Technical Assistance Manager for the Safe Routes to School National Partnership. In this role, Hannah advances Safe Routes to School, Complete Streets, active community design, transportation equity, and other active transportation-related initiatives through technical assistance, resource development, program support, outreach, and communication.

Prior to joining the Safe Routes to School National Partnership, Hannah worked at the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, where she developed and led a regional bicycle education program for schools and employers with the San Diego Association of Governments and Alta Planning + Design. Hannah managed the Bicycle Coalition’s programs and outreach reaching eighteen cities and the county. Prior to the SDCBC, Hannah worked for the Epilepsy Foundation in San Diego focusing on development and outreach. There she contributed in fundraising efforts through events, sponsorships, grants, and online appeals.

Hannah completed a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Visual Culture at the University of California in Santa Cruz. Hannah has a certificate in fundraising and non-profit management from the Indiana School of Philanthropy. Hannah is a certified cycling instructor through the League of American Bicyclists and completed Adventure Cycling’s leadership training program in 2015. Hannah loves to travel by bike and enjoys helping others discover the sense of joy and empowerment that comes from riding a bicycle.
