The Safe Routes to School National Partnership’s list-serve can help you learn what other states are doing regarding hiring Coordinators, the establishment of State Task Forces, Advisory Committees, and how funds will be distributed for infrastructure and non-infrastructure activities. Individuals and groups are welcome to join and share information about program implementation, best practices, and regional and national news.
Instructions
To sign-up, simply send an e-mail message to: join-saferoutestoschool@saferoutes.listserve.us leaving the subject heading blank and the body of the message blank. After you send the message, you will receive a verification e-mail. You must reply to that verification e-mail. After that takes place, you will receive a welcome message that you have been successfully subscribed to the list. Through management of your list at the list-serve web interface, you can update your settings, such as whether you want a daily digest or to receive each message as it is posted.
We hope that this list-serve will provide a format for a rich discussion in “real time.” Please spread the word to others, so that we can secure an ample number of people for discussion.
