Jessica Meaney bio
Jessica Meaney serves as the California Policy Manager for the Safe Routes to School National Partnership, working on statewide policy reform as well as funding policies and priorities for Southern California. She is also the California State Network Organizer.
Jessica Meaney serves as the California Policy Manager for the Safe Routes to School National Partnership and is based in Los Angeles.
Jessica coordinates two Safe Routes to Schools networks – one at the State level, and one at the regional level in Southern California. These networks work to bring together advocacy groups, parents and community members, government agencies and other leaders. They also help ensure that Safe Routes to School funds succeed in California, leverage additional resources, and address and improve regional transportation policies.
Jessica has her Master of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Prescott College in Arizona. Most recently, Jessica worked as a Regional Transportation Planner for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). |
